Cookie Policy
Last updated 29 August 2026
This page explains, plainly, what cookies AURO actually uses today — not a generic list of every cookie category a larger company might use.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to remember information between visits — like keeping you signed in.
2. What we currently use
- Strictly necessary — session cookie. One signed cookie that keeps you logged in. Without it, AURO can't remember who you are between pages. It's deleted when you sign out or after 30 days.
That's the only cookie AURO sets today. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Under GDPR and similar laws, strictly necessary cookies like this one don't require consent — but we believe in telling you anyway.
Your device may also store small amounts of local data for the app itself to work smoothly (for example, remembering a draft) — this stays on your device and isn't a cookie in the traditional sense.
3. If this changes
If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first, in line with applicable law.
4. Managing cookies
Because our session cookie is required to stay signed in, blocking it will simply sign you out. You can control or clear cookies at any time in your browser's settings.
